Photography is only a hobby

Well, big game this weekend (we lost again) But......Austin ran a 60 yard touchdown! And, yes, I did get a picture! Here it is!

No its not a mistake!! Can't you see him running down the sidelines??? If you squint your eyes and look really close.......

No really, I was so disgusted with the way they were playing and the way the "coach" was screaming that I turned off the camera. Well, wouldn't you know? As I fumbled with the camera to try and hurry and take the picture (after all it was 60 yards)I should have had plenty of time. Yeah!!! I got the picture alright, with the lens cap on. Duh!!! Sorry Austin, you'll just have to make another one for me.

All is not a total lost though, here is some professional work done by Lacasio Photography.

Not Much to Say

Not much to say. The weekend was basically a washout.

Went to Dad's to set up his new wireless laptop! He's back in cyberspace! I think he really likes it and he can sit in his living room and surf the net with no wires! Yay!

Austin's team played in the pouring rain. His friends told him it was a BLAST to play in the rain. I don't think he agrees. The game was a blowout, we lost 27-0 against Old Rochester.

We had a cake for Courtney and played with her birthday present Wiifit! It was fun. Big 25 Courtney!!! Watched the Pat's win, but its just not the same without Tom. No pictures today, didn't want to get the camera wet.

Plans with my Little Friend on Saturday, maybe take her to King Richard's Faire!

Survival of Tropical Storm Hannah

Well, I guess we all survived the tropical storm that everyone was scrambling around for. I wasn't worried, but I did get prepared by getting in line at the grocery store for the last loaf of bread, picked up some movies and stayed close to home...........just in case.........

Austin's football game was not cancelled on Sunday. It was an absolutely gorgeous day! His team played the New Bedford Whalers, a new team in the league. They played awesome! The lost though, 7-6. Guess who scored the 6????? Yep!!!! Here's some pictures of the action!

On his way #34....

Taking a breather....

A few more yards guys.........I'm almost there.

1st Football Game against New Bedford Bears!

Well as you can see we made the weigh-in. Austin had to weigh 100 pounds to stay at the age level he was at last year. We decided mentally that was best. He struggled to take off about 5 lbs. Where? I have no idea!!! The only thing we could do now is donate blood!! Anyway, he weighed in at 100lbs exactly. So he's good, now he can gain 2lbs per week.

The first game was fun, his team lost but...........what else is new? Here are some pics from the game. He is #34.

Austin carries the ball for some yardage.......

Here is the Quarterback throwing the pass to Austin.............

Here he is missing the pass............

Here he is dropping the pass.........

Oh well, can't win them all!
