Thanksgiving

Well, it's over. The hustle and bustle of food preparation and it's gone in one gulp! We went to my sister-in-law Cheryl's this year, but I brought the turkey. It's a little difficult trying to time the cooking of a turkey with a 45 minute ride in between. I started the turkey at 9am and it still wasn't done at 3!!! We were starving! Luckily, Cheryl is always one to try new recipies. She had pumpkin soup, veggie dip and a delicious cider. So we kept picking until the darn bird was done. And to top it off, the bird didn't have one of those "pop tops" to let you know when it's done. We had to use the meat thermometer and it seemed like forever. Derek kept hovering over the pan like a buzzard. Ha ha! Anyway, all was good. We got home about 7 ish and everyone put on their jammies (probably cause they couldn't button their pants)! Roger and Austin have the day off and Courtney and I went to work. I got up early to do a little "black Friday" shopping. I was sitting at my desk by 7am. Austin is playing in a basketball tournament this weekend so we'll be busy. I know.......yes, I said basketball.

Here's a few videos, he's in the orange shirt #1.
